What is Polymerase Chain Reaction PCR
Polymerase chain reaction or PCR is a powerful and very efficient form of genetic testing. It does this by making multiple copies of a DNA sequence. Repetitive reactions with a polymerase take place. PCR is very precise and can be used to amplify, or target a specific DNA target from within a mixed sample of DNA molecules.
Testing involving this process is carried our using a PCR Machine otherwise known as a Real-Time PCR Machine. In our courses, this is the centre-point of a majority of a laboratory based courses. Our courses branch out into the importance of ISO standards within the certified laboratory environment. Our instructors use their experience and extensive knowledge to go through the various pitfalls of not following procedures as compared to strict adherence to the guidelines.
